Health Improvement
We capitalize on working with Community Health Workers (CHWs) to deliver basic primary healthcare to the community, especially women and children.
Quality of Life Improvemnt
Through our CBO, we provide a safe space for women and girls to share and seek health information and services. The CBO is also a space for the community at large to access health information and training, to promote a healthy and well community.

About Us
Mount Olives CBO is an initiative of young professionals who came
together to work amongst their community through sharing knowledge and helping the
community to pull up resources together for their development.
The organization is running Mount Olives Community Health Center, a Primary School and a church. These facilities are duly registered by the relevant ministries’.
It is serving the rural community of Mosocho, Kisii County Kenya.

Organizational Activities/Programs
1.Supporting children education by running a primary school
2. Providing healthcare to the community through Mount Olives Community Health Center
3. Promoting environmental conservation through mobilization and support of tree planting
and protection of water springs and other vital ecosystems
4. Adolescent health programs
5. Women and girls empowerment both economically and socially.
6. Vocational skills to provide livelihood for youths
7. Foods security through informed farming and good agronomical practices.
8. Elderly program conducted through doing home visits on clients having hypertension, chronic peptic ulcers, diabetic, rheumatoid arthritis FREE OF CHARGE and palliative care to cancer patients.
9. Community outreaches and in-reaches.
10. Carrying out orphaned & vulnerable children and the widows program under Galelian Ministries Church.

We welcome donors and partners particularly to partner with Mount Olives CBO as a spring board and a connecting center to Lake region & Gusii land health facilities keen to participate in the Cancer screening, referral, treatment and management which is now a huge challenge to our community. For MOCBO, collaborating with partners is critical to achieving lasting solutions to health and development challenges in the community.
